Liverpool cemented their lead at the top of the Premier League in the 14th match of the 2019/20 season.
The reds moved on to 40 points, an amazing return from the 42 available so far and they extended their undefeated Premier League run to 31 games - matching a previous top flight record by the Merseyside giants.
Virgil van Dijk scored two first half headers (both supplied by Trent Alexander-Arnold) to give the reds a comfortable half-time lead.
However, late on, Alisson was sent off reducing the reds to ten men after handling the ball outside the area. The resulting free kick was taken quickly by Lewis Dunk whilst substitute Adrian was still arranging his wall, and dribbled past him in to the goal.
It set up a nervy final ten minutes, but ten man Liverpool held on to secure all three league points.
